So Lacey and I haven't cut our hair in a while. Also I cut my self shaving 2 weeks ago and haven't shaved since so I'm also getting scruffy (this pic is from just before I cut myself). I keep teasing Lacey saying I'm not going to cut my hair before we head to Georgia but I know that is a lie. I have to make it presentable for Enos' wedding. It's also starting to get cold out so there is that now too. I get to go to an IT conference tomorrow called Interface. It should be fairly fun I hope. Sorry it's short I will get another pic of both of us before we cut our hair as I have never seen Lacey's hair so long so neither have y'all!
Also thanks for the birthday wishes!

Geocaching
So I have off and on done some Geocaching recently. I have found that it is simple fun that anyone with a smart phone can enjoy. I love hiking and walking so it makes sense to do this as well. I hope to one day get an actual GPS to go with but for now my old iPhone works, I just can't do it on camp outs etc.
I haven't really done many caches nor have I taken anything (most of the caches are small) but I don't want to take anything without leaving something so I am currently in the process of gathering some junk drawer items (cool pins, maybe some marbles? coins from other countries, etc) that I think would be fun for others to find.
There are some cool things you can track as well so you leave them and track where they have been so other people leave them in other caches kind of like the old where's george website where you track one dollar bills. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/ is the site for anyone interested its quite fun to track these kids of things. Maybe I will start a bill first and if I enjoy it enough I will do the cache too.
We did a really small one yesterday (Lacey's final nickle on her index finger small). It was really fun! Well I hope you enjoyed the update family!!

Quick Update
Not much going on this week. I am doing Nunchucku lessons with karate. I think I need a new hoodie. I will let you know what if I find one. It is finally starting to warm up. We are hoping we can save enough to get Lacey into school this spring/summer term or she can get scholarships for it. Keep us in your prayers!
Love you all.

No longer sick!
Lacey got me sick this last week. We are finally feeling better. As far as news goes for the two of us there is not much to tell. I am in the process of setting up a VPN and media server on our network. I have half started it which means I just need to sit down and actually finish. This weekend we are planning a temple trip.

Observation Class Ends This Week!!
Lacey has been taking a teaching observation class this semester. It means getting up at 6:30 in the morning so she can observe teachers, help grade, and even sometimes teach. While it has been a great experience it has made life stressful as it is from 7:30 to 11:30 off campus at the schools she observes in addition to her five other classes. She and her carpool buddies got donuts to celebrate. To celebrate, I plan on sleeping in.
I noticed that my hair is starting to recede, it's not way bad yet but kinda through me for a loop (had a quick panic attack). The video quality is bad sorry, but I wanted to mention my freak out about it.

Blue Belt Test and Valentines!
So Lacey and I wanted a way to keep family up to date about our lives. Seeing as how I dislike Facebook and am rarely on it, I decided to make a blog for us.
This last Friday we had our blue belt test for karate! We passed! Yay!
The others in the picture are 2 of our karate mates who tested with us, Mark and Catalina.

In other news, the stake put on a Valentine's breakfast (it was awesome), We decided to go to IKEA as well! We had Swedish Meatballs and walked around the store fantasizing about owning different things. That night we went to a wedding for an old roommate of mine.
Lastly to the great relief of Lacey I cut my hair. It was getting long and turning into a mullet.
That's it for now. Love Y'all
